In July 2010, a group of enthusiastic Rubik’s Cube solvers from Jakarta visited the Mitra Netra Foundation, a foundation for blind people, to connect with a unique group of cube enthusiasts: the blind cubers!

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and curiosity as the Jakarta Rubik’s Cube Club watched in awe while the blind cubers solved the Rubik’s Cube without their eyesight. The club members were amazed by their skill with a specially designed cube marked in Braille.

The experience was nothing short of inspiring. It showed that with passion, determination and creativity, one can overcome any obstacle. The blind cubers were living proof that nothing can stop us from pursuing our dreams, whatever our limitations. Their success is a testament to the power of the human spirit and its endless potential.

The visit was more than a show of kindness; it was a reminder that we should create more opportunities for people with disabilities to show their talents and skills. Doing so helps break down stereotypes and negative perceptions, and builds a more inclusive world where everyone is valued for who they are.

It was an unforgettable experience that reminded us of the potential within us all. The blind cubers showed that whatever life throws our way, we can always find a way to reach our goals. By promoting inclusivity and creating opportunities for everyone, we can build a better world for ourselves and for future generations. Let us all be inspired by the blind cubers and take steps towards a more inclusive and accepting world.
