In July 2010, a group of enthusiastic Rubik’s Cube solvers from Jakarta decided to visit the Mitra Netra Foundation, a home for blind people, to connect with a unique group of Rubik’s Cube enthusiasts – the blind cubers!

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and curiosity as the Jakarta Rubik’s Cube Club watched in awe as the blind cubers, without the use of their eyesight, solved the Rubik’s cube. The club members were amazed by the incredible skills of the blind cubers, who used a specially designed cube with Braille lettering.

This experience was nothing short of inspiring, as it highlighted that with passion, determination, and creativity, one can overcome any obstacle in life. The blind cubers were living proof that nothing can stop us from pursuing our dreams, no matter what our limitations may be. Their success is a testament to the power of the human spirit and its endless potential.

This visit to the Mitra Netra Foundation was more than just a show of kindness; it was a reminder that we should create more opportunities for people with disabilities to showcase their talents and skills. By doing so, we can break down the stereotypes and negative perceptions that society may have towards people with disabilities. This can help create a more inclusive world where everyone is valued and appreciated for who they are.

It was an unforgettable experience that reminded us of the incredible potential that lies within us all. The blind cubers demonstrated that no matter what life throws our way, we can always find a way to achieve our goals. By promoting inclusivity and creating opportunities for everyone to showcase their abilities, we can create a better world for ourselves and future generations. Let us all be inspired by the blind cubers and take steps towards making the world a more inclusive and accepting place.
